As rack densities continue to climb — driven by NVIDIA's Vera Rubin, GB300, and next-generation GPU platforms — the thermal management strategies that worked five years ago simply don't scale. Hot aisle containment is one of the most critical and often underestimated components of a high-density data center build.
*What Is Hot Aisle Containment?*
Data center racks draw cold air in from the front and exhaust hot air out the back. Without containment, that hot exhaust air mixes with cold supply air — reducing cooling efficiency and forcing your CRAC units to work harder.

🔴 Hot aisle — where hot air exits the rear of the racks
HAC physically separates them, capturing hot exhaust and routing it directly to the cooling return before it mixes with cold supply air.
